We spoke to the Midwest Glauber reporter - Bill, staff writer for the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel - earlier today and asked if the story about the Packers mistakenly posting the Brett Favre retirement announcement on their website was a big deal.
"Are you kidding me?!" Bill bellowed into the phone. "It was huge!"
Bill theorizes that there are now three sports seasons his paper must now cover. The Brewers during baseball season. The Packers during football season. And Favre's annual will he/won't he retirement dance during the NFL off-season.
The Packers hope to find out by next week whether Brett returns.
