Sage Rosenfels to the Vikings?

Vikings coach Brad Childress has been a supporter of second-year quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, despite his struggles in the starter's role. But that could be about to change.

Kevin Seifert of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting that the Vikings are in talks with the Texans about quarterback Sage Rosenfels. According to Seifert, the Vikings have offered a third-round pick for Matt Schaub's backup.

Rosenfels has done well in Schaub's absence, and would be a decent fit for Childress' West Coast offense. He'd at least give Jackson a run at the starter's job, and could very well unseat him with a solid preseason effort.
