I repeat, it's my Internet boss who has goaded me into linking you to this picture. I will not post said picture, because it borders on poor taste for the website of a mainstream newspaper. Then again, it is a picture that is on the cover of a mainstream sports magazine that circulates throughout this great land of ours and will soon appear on the doorsteps of millions of Americans. 
So here is the link., Neil Best has already posted this picture, but reduced the shot greatly. Then again, he subsequently posted pictures of attractive female sportscasters, so I guess it's a wash.
It's a win-win for everyone. You get to see the picture, which is linked to other pictures, I might add. My Internet boss (I will not tell you his name, but his initials are Mark La Monica) gets to see that I'm promoting his blog, and I get the page views.
And if anyone asks, I'll just say my boss made me do it.

“Destiny’s Catch” is a douchy name….It was an entire play…not just a catch
I read in another sportswriter’s column that the play should be called “The Shawshank Reception”…It gives proper respect to the “escape” aspect of the play, and it sounds cool.
Someone suggested that Roger Clemens answering questions in front of congress sounded like that South Carolina Miss Teen USA chick who couldn’t put a thought together…that would make a good youtube mash-up …video of Roger with Miss South Carolina talking….
I believe McNamee…I don’t like him…he seems like maybe he’s a total jerk-wad…but I believe him…And I believe Pettitte…he and Giambi are living proof that if you fess up, the people (and the government) will cut you slack.

Too bad about the hockey dude Zednik that got his throat cut…glad he’s gonna be okay… The sport was in trouble before the strike…this is not the kind of press that Bettman wants. The NHL has been great this year…there are a lot of good races and so many great players that nobody knows…they should never have messed with ESPN.
