Now that the Glauber Nation playoff prediction contest is over, we'd like to thank BBiB! for his yeoman's work taking care of the stats. He did a fantastic job, and we greatly appreciate it.
We're giving some serious thought to arranging future contests, so we might be leaning on BBiB! for additional work. At some point, he's probably going to ask for money, but that means getting the Newsday lawyers involved, so hopefully he's content with achieving national pride as his reward.
We'll be offering a profile of our Glauber Nation contest winner "Poppy" in the very near future.
In the meantime, BBiB!, thanks!

You are welcome. I am quite content with my current pay and a big fan of fun contests like this. But I also like to see them pay off as promised....so, as a reminder, you owe Poppy a sandwich (just wash your hands first)! Highest month ever of page views eh? Congrats! You'll need to think of a way to keep us interested until next fall so we keep your blog in its appropriate spot in our 'favorites'.
