Kawika Mitchell is a Buffalo Bill

Click here for the latest free agency updates and NFL rumors

The last time Kawika Mitchell was in Buffalo, he was busy transforming the Giants' season with an interception return for touchdown that helped Big Blue's comeback victory over the Bills in Week 16 last season.

Today, he has joined the Bills as a free agent.

The Giants had held out some hope late last night that they could re-sign Mitchell, but once the free agent market opened, he was gone.

They're likely to officially say goodbye later today to safety Gibril Wilson and linebacker Reggie Torbor, who has reportedly agreed to terms with the Dolphins. Wilson is being targeted by Oakland.

WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO PLAY IN BUFFALO?

$$$$$$$$$$$$

I'm praying that Jerry is allowing all the Linbackers to leave because he wants to bring in a big time LB. I hope it's Lance Briggs!

I think you have to have confidence in Jerry Reese. After last off season people though he was asleep at the wheel and how did things turn out? Im sure he has a plan.

the giants have Mattias and Gerris for LB. Briggs would be huge... IF they do not sign anyone for LB they need to draft that area..

Reese does know what he is doing so relax, he does not overpay....

We saw this last year, when Reese stood pat. They won the Super Bowl.

Wilkinson intrigues me, although he may not have quite the burst of Mitchell.

Still not crazy about Kiwi playing linebacker, but it's not as if the Giants are desperate now that Torbor is gone.

last year reese said the giants did not have any money to spend, he said this year will be diffriend. i hope so because the giants have a good core of young players, but so do other teams in our division. i"ll wait and see, and keep the faith that players want to play for super bowl winner!!!!!

Dan Conner from Penn State... That is our 1st round pick!!!!!

Andrew:

There would be nothing wrong with that.

Why would anyone want to play in Buffalo. ? To get out of Jersey, stupid !

I hope Jerry was smart not just lucky last year.

I agree with rottweilertom... WHY BUFFALO!!!??? Money isn't enough! It's the armpit of the nation! And damn cold. But then again, a whole nation of people settled north of there. But I have noticed that a lot of their fine (hockey) athletes tend to migrate to warmer climes... Tell me - how many Panthers grew up in Florida playing hockey? NONE. (To bring it back somewhere close to the topic at hand, Panther Drew Larman was born in Buffalo.)
