Hard to believe that David Carr was the first overall pick in the 2002 draft.
After being released by the Texans last off-season, he figured he'd resurrect his career in Carolina. Nope. Carr was so bad that 43-year-old Vinny Testaverde beat him out after being signed off the street.
Mercifully, the Panthers pulled the plug on the Carr era.
Too bad. Good kid. Hard worker. Just can't get it done on the field.

Maybe the used Carr could use a rebuilt engine...any chance the Jets might bring him for a complete overhaul ?
Nice line, Poppy.
Don't think the Jets will take a look-see at Carr. They've got enough issues at QB.
