I don't understand why meteorologists need to stand outside to tell us the forecast nor why sports reporters need to sit on an empty field to talk about an upcoming game. If the story was about the turf or wind at Giants Stadium, it would be understandable but they are playing in Tampa. Who thinks this location makes for a better report??
Is this the thinking that goes on with the producers of the show: "We're going to have Bob and Shaun discuss the Giants-Bucs game today. Let's have them sit outside in the cold and the wind so they are really uncomfortable and they can say witty things like, 'It'll be warmer than this in Tampa this weekend'. The fans will really think these guys know their stuff if they are actually on the field,. Set it up."
