That's according to Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips, who is still concerned by lingering soreness from Terrell Owens' high ankle sprain. Owens was limping around the team's training complex earlier today, and it's uncertain if he'll be able to practice Wednesday or Thursday, the two most critical days of training.
Gut feeling: Owens plays, but is not nearly as effective as he normally is. It will have been only three weeks since he suffered the injury, and some players need as long as six weeks to be functional. Owens has been a remarkably quick healer in the past, but it may be asking a lot to see him anywhere close to full strength on Sunday.
