Patriots 28, Jaguars 10

The Jaguars have staked a claim to "team you least want to face in the playoffs" award, especially after their inspiring win over the Steelers in the wild card round.belichick.jpg

And there are a few "experts" out there who think they'll give the Patriots a game tomorrow night. Don't think so.

Look, the Jags have a very good football team, and one that's built to deal with a team like the Patriots. They run the ball well - New England's run defense can be soft at times with aging inside linebackers Tedy Bruschi and Junior Seau. They play terrific defense, although Big Ben was able to put up some numbers once he decided to stop turning the ball over after three picks in the first half.

But this is the Patriots we're talking about. The team that went 16-0. The team that has already won three Super Bowls this decade. The team with the greatest coach on the planet.

Jacksonville has had a terrific run this season, and they've exceeded all expectations. And David Garrard has proven more than a serviceable quarterback. But let's face it. The Pats are a superior team, they're well rested, and they've got arguably the greatest offense in the history of the game.

Put it all together, and we're talking New England in the AFC Championship Game.
