Man, what a weekend of football.
We've always liked the divisional round of the NFL playoffs the best, and this weekend did not disappoint. Four really good games.
Football gods, we thank you once more.
With such late notice, we still rustled up 13 players for the impromptu picks contest, and BBiB! has come through with the standings. Much earlier than expected, I might add.

Watching the games yesterday, I couldn't help but wonder if the Manning boys had switched uniforms... here was Eli, looking strong and confident, tearing up the Cowboys, and there was Peyton hanging his head, mumbling to himself, moving his feet more than Fred Astaire, looking skittish like he was an over caffeinated ADHD project.
Note to T.O. - I'm planning on watching the You tube of your crocodile tears press conference this afternoon, but i want to run out and get some popcorn first.
Note to Hookslide: Less Star Trek conventions, more Football. You should have taken your chance to say those picks were a joke. BG probably would have chosen them for QotW

The reason that my picks were so bad has nothing to do with the fact that I don't know squat about football...
Any of you experts would have a hard time missing all four games...and if you look at the picks they aren't ridiculous...(i.e. Dallas 4-2)
I went under the premise that playoff football is lower scoring than regular season...with premiums on running and defense...that there would be bad weather in Green Bay...that Jax was hot ...blah, blah, blah...that road teams could win....unfortunately I picked two road teams to win...the OTHER two....
but hey....if twelve or thirteen plays went differently, I could have been right in this thing....
Anyone want me to start picking the Giants to win?
