Chilkoot's Chargers are sore losers

It wasn't bad enough for the Chargers that they saw their Super Bowl hopes go up in flames right before our man Charlie Chilkoot's eyes. Now center Nick Hardwick is whining about Richard Seymour being a cheap shot artist.

“Richard Seymour is the biggest (expletive) I've ever come across in football,” Hardwick said. “They've got 10 good football players on that team. Richard Seymour is a dirty, cheap little pompous (expletive).”

Hardwick and Seymour went at it just about the whole game.

"He's cheap and dirty, and the head man just let him get away with it the whole time,” Hardwick said. “They've got 10 great players, and when Jarvis Green is on the field they have 11 great players that compete how you're supposed to compete. But that Richard Seymour is the biggest (expletive) I've ever played."

Safe travels back to San Diego, Mr. Chilkoot.

In spite of the fact that I nearly froze to death, my experience at the Razor was quite pleasant. Many very nice people. From my seat fairly far away, I could not see the specific techniques that Mr. Hardwick is accusing Mr. Seymour of employing. However, I believe what he is saying.

As for whether that makes him a sore loser or not, I think that most Chargers fans would consider his statement nothing more than a personal opinion having nothing to do with the fact they lost. But as you did, it is possible to interpret his statement another way. I assure you that all Pats fans will take it your way, as the most common opinion expressed to me at the game was that LT is a sore loser as a result of his objections last year to dancing on the Bolt after they beat the Chargers in SD.

My rear freezing has shifted from New England to Troy, NY, where my son is currently living and sometimes going to college. Hopefully the storm that has you shut down in Cheeseheadland won't get here until after my departure on Wednesday afternoon.
