How do I know that?
Because I am an insomniac who watches Conan when I can't sleep, and I saw Pierce for myself on last night's show. 
Conan thanked Pierce for taking the time out of his busy schedule to appear on the show - which was apparently taped yesterday afternoon. Pierce said something to the effect of, "Well, it's a good thing coach Coughlin doesn't watch late night television."
Yes, but he reads blogs every morning, AP, so I'm sure he'll find out about the appearance sooner or later.
No worries, TC. Pierce didn't say anything remotely controversial, and was generally an entertaining guest. AP did say he thought he would be cold during tomorrow's game, but that it wouldn't affect his team's performance.
AP came on after a long-haired musician type dude I'd never heard of, although I'm sure Staple would know the guy and make fun of me for still liking Yanni.
