Honestly, I can't remember anticipating a regular season game more than this. Seeing as I've been covering this sport for 23 years, I'd say that's somewhat noteworthy.
Giants-Patriots. A chance for 16-0. Thirty five years since the last unbeaten season. You don't often get to witness history. And either way, this will be history. Either the Pats make history by becoming the first team in history to win out in a 16-game season. Or the Giants pull off the upset of the year.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why any self-respecting Giants fan would sell his or her tickets to this one. Money's nice. Being an eyewitness to history is priceless.
Prediction: Patriots 28, Giants 10.

Dude, if the Giants needed the game, I definitely would agree with you. But they don't. By the fourth quarter it will look like August on the field.
Dude, you are about to witness history. Enough with the jaded sportswriter stuff ... then again, you're probably right. I do tend to get a little excited about these things. And my best writing of the day will probably be on your blog. Oh, well.
Yes I totally, its a shame the Giants fans sold their tickets. I would give an arm and a leg to be at the stadium to witness history. I dont think in the next 50 years any team will come close to beating the patriots unbeaten(assuming they beat the Giants) regular season run.
I'm so busy preparing for our first Playoff game I didn't even notice... is there an NFL game tonight?
28-10 works for me! And assuming it goes about that way, I'm buying an obnoxious Pats sweatshirt to wear to Giants training camp in Albany... If the Pats don't win, I think I'll spend my summer in Canada.
OK - it's halftime. Go to the locker room, wave that magic wand, and come back out and run the damn score up so I can get some sleep!
