Newfound respect for Plaxico Burress

We wrote about the Giants' receiver in the newspaper today, and he has done his part to make us look like we know what we're talking about - at least some of the time.

We also realize that Big Ben is Back! has just about lost his lunch reading that many "we's" in a single sentence. We're sorry about that, BBiB!

Anyway, WE think Burress is a pretty fine receiver, all things considered. Couldn't say WE thought he'd be this good when he came over as a free agent from the Steelers. But he has turned into as big a play-maker the Giants have ever had on offense.

In a word: indispensible.

I'll second you on your evaluation of Burress. He's a lot tougher than I'd ever thought he'd be.

PS Just saw Peter King with Costas. I didn't hear a word he said. All I could do was think about his "procedure." Thanks to you and Best for getting me through this weekend when all I seemed to do was take care of my sick wife and kids.

JP:

Glad to help. Sorry for the unfortunate references, but I felt I had to give you something, since the original post has been removed from cyberspace. Hope the wife and kids feel better.
