Who the hell knows what's gonna happen on Sunday? The way the NFL is these days, anything's possible. Hey, the Cardinals beat the Steelers on Sunday, ok? Besides, if you've been following the Beat Bob Glauber competition, you'll know that things are not going as well as they could in this corner. It's gotten to the point where we might have to rename the contest: "You Can't Help But Beat Bob Glauber."
Then again, I believe our own "NKR," a regular poster on this blog, is doing quite well in the competition. Not only that, but "NKR" is also coming off a major victory in our "Comment Contest Winners" competition for some insightful remarks on Michael Vick getting busted on a drug test.
Anyway, here's a preview of the game from my column today and why the game has more implications for the Jets than the Giants.
Too bad the Yankees will overshadow this rare New York-New York football game. Perhaps if it had been scheduled in November, there's be a little more interest. But with A-Rod & Co. ready to do battle in the baseball playoffs, and with Mets fans still nursing the wounds of their beloved team's late-season collapse, Jets-Giants isn't all it could be.

I am BEGGING you to tell me your strategy. You don't know the humiliation associated with covering the NFL for more than half your life, and STILL not knowing what the hell is going on when it comes to picking games.
Ok, I did get the Falcons beating the Texans right, but completely flopped on Giants/Jets. Oh, well. Such is life in the NFL.
