I don't normally like to talk about myself, but La Monica, who will be running the company one day because he's thirtysomething and very up on technology, says this is the wave of the future. You'll notice I'm wearing shorts in the video, and it looks a little goofy, I admit. In fact, I'm more a tie-and-jacket type guy for television appearances on ESPN First Take. But it was 95 degrees and humid, so this is how sportswriters look in such conditions.
I believe even Neil Best wore some dorkified beige shorts when he covered the Giants in training camp. Art Staple is wears slightly more modern cargo shorts and sandals when he's blogging away in Albany. Tom Rock wears shorts, too.
