Can Pacman Jones really be this stupid?

Titans suspended cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, who is hoping to be reinstated after 10 games this season, seems to be doing everything possible to make sure NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will uphold the one-year ban he imposed on Jones for a string of legal problems. pacman2.jpg

First, Pacman got involved in a wrestling venture in which the team had to file suit to make sure he didn't actually wrestle, which would have violated his Titans contract.

Now, he's putting together a hip hop venture that will reportedly produce a song that talks about big money, cars and jewelry.

Not only that, but his company, called National Street League Records, is coming under NFL scrutiny. The league is investigating whether the record label's name infringes on the NFL's trademark.

Way to get back in the league's good graces, Pacman.

Why is anyone surprised at his behavior? From day one, Adam Jones has been someone who doesn't care about anyone else but himself. He most certainly had his butt kissed in high school and college, at every turn whoever he's come into contact with has probably smooched his butt because he was a big time football player, and now people expect him to act differently because there is money and his career on the line? People like Adam Jones don't get it; they believe the worlds revolves around them and that they'll get by in the end. How could he not? That's all he's ever known. Since he's been a kid he's been surrounded by yes-men and sycophants in the guise of "his boyz" who tell him everything he wants to hear and act like thugs without a care in the world. No surprise then that you can take the Pacman out of the 'hood but you can't take the 'hood outta the Pacman.

This article is snarky gossip. Focus on the games and not the soap opera. Who cares? You employ trash you're bound to get dirty.

Pacman may be a moron but why would his hip-hop venture and a song about big money and cars be a problem? This sounds like a typcial comment from a white writer that can be perceived as racist and this comes from another white guy.

It's not gossip, ESPN has been speculating that Pacman has a slim shot at reinstatement late this season. That activities BG disussed above will impact that decision.
Bob, any thoughts re Revis contract? Did anyone cave, or was it a complicated splitting of differences?

Now this is some good stuff!

Hilarious!

The simple answer is yes. He can be that stupid. haha.

Craig:

Revis contract one of most complicated ever agreed upon. Don't forget there are buyout provisions after four years, so the six-year deal isn't all it's cracked up to be. I don't think anyone caved. Jets got their six-year contract, but gave up plenty in guaranteed money. They also have to pay huge guaranteed dollars in the event they want to buy back the contract after four years.

Why does Dallas even want Pacman?
