Redskins running back Clinton Portis (knee) is expected to miss Sunday night's game against the Cowboys. Portis said he might be able to play and said he'll be in the training room working hard to play in the game. Ladell Betts, returning from an injury, is expected to start.

Saints running back Reggie Bush will not play Sunday against the Chiefs. Deuce McAllister will start and Aaron Stecker , who is probable, will see carries, too.

Rams running back Steven Jackson won't play against the 49ers and won't even make the trip with the team. Jackson will see a specialist to determine what is wrong with his quad. Two MRIs showed no tears. Antonio Pittman will start and Travis Minor will see action, too.

Bears QB Kyle Orton (ankle) is expected to start against the Packers. He doesn't have a good matchup against the Packers, who defend the pass well and struggle against the run.

Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason missed another practice and will be a game-time decision against the Giants.

Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles (ankle) will play Sunday against the Saints.

Bengals running back Cedric Benson (back) practiced fully today and is expected to start against the Eagles.

Cowboys running back Felix Jones (hamstring) missed his third consecutive practice and is listed for doubtful against the Redskins Sunday. Don't expect him to play.

Buccaneers tight end Alex Smith (ankle) missed his third consecutive practice and won't play ahainst the Vikings.
