American League Offensive Player of the Week -- Marlon Byrd (Rangers): He went 16-for-28 (.571) with nine runs, two home runs, eight RBIs and two stolen bases.

National League Offensive Player of the Week -- Carlos Lee (Astros): He broke his pinkie on Saturday and could be out for the season. He went 11-for-20 (.550) with seven runs, three home runs and 11 RBIs.

American League Pitcher of the Week -- Cliff Lee (Indians):He went 2-0 in road starts over the Rays and Jays. He struck out three in 15 innings and had a 1.20 ERA and 1.20 WHIP.

National League Pitcher of the Week -- Brian Moehler (Astros): He pitched five scoreless innings against the Cubs on Monday and didn't return following a rain delay. He got the win and allowed four hits, no walks and struck out four. On Saturday, he went seven innings and allowed five hits, one run, no walks and struck out three in a win over the Reds. He went 2-0 with a 0.75 ERA and 0.75 WHIP.
