Yankees disappoint again

BY ADAM RONIS

There are some negative aspects of fantasy baseball and one of them happened with me tonight. It's the first round of my head-to-head playoffs this week and A.J. Burnett went against me last night putting me in a ditch. So my opponent also has Daniel Cabrera, who faced the Yankees a team I'm not too fond of to put it mildly. So here I was rooting for the Yankees, wait I can't say that, I mean hoping Cabrera would implode. But of course, he didn't. He came in 2-0 against the Yankees and they did nothing against him.

I caught a break when Cabrera was wrongfully ejected for hitting A-Rod after he homered in his last at-bat. He left with two runners on base in the 8th inning and both scored. I am feeling better as the deficit is cut to 6-3 and hoping the Yankees tie it, costing Cabrera a win and then the Yankees lose after that. But of course, the one day I need the Yankees to come through, they tease, cut the lead to 7-6 and lose.

Just let me vent a little more. My opponent also had Aubrey Huff, who went 4-for-5 with a homer, two runs and four RBIs. To make it worse, he had C.J. Wilson blow a save only to wind up getting the win. Yeah, I am mad and trailing by a lot. My 35-16 regular-season record doesn't mean much now.
