Magglio Ordonez was activated from the disabled list and will play tonight. He was on the DL with a strained oblique and is hitting .307 with 12 home runs and 50 RBIs.

David Ortiz is scheduled to start his rehab in Triple-A tonight and is targeting a July 25th return. He has been out since May 31 because of a partial tear of the sheath that surrounds the tendon in his left wrist.

Alfonso Soriano said he will go on a rehab assignment and he is hoping to return to the Cubs one week from today. He broke his hand June 11.

Bobby Jenks threw a scoreless inning in a rehab game at Double-A yesterday and is close to a return.

Chris Young had his first rehab start yesterday and allowed one run in 3 2/3 inning at Single-A. He allowed two hits, no walks and struck out four.

I can't see benching Nolasco right now. He's been great. He's had some great matchups and the Phillies pose the biggest challenge he's had in more than a month, but he is 2-0 against the Phillies this season. He's pitching too well to sit him right now.
