Myers could return next week

BY ADAM RONIS

Brett Myers will make a start in Class A Friday and he could return to the Phillies on July 23 to face the Mets. He was sent to Triple-A Lehigh Valley last month after he went 3-9 with a 5.84 ERA in 17 starts. In three starts there, he is 1-2 with a 3.10 ERA and he has allowed 17 hits and nine runs -- seven earned. Myers was hurt by the home run, which accounted for most of his problems this season. He should be owned in NL-only leagues and very deep mixed leagues.
