National League Offensive Player of the Week -- Ryan Howard (Phillies): He went 10-for-27 (.370) with seven runs, five home runs and eight RBIs.
American League Offensive Player of the Week -- Jhonny Peralta (Indians): He went 10-for-25 (.400) with six runs, three home runs and 10 RBIs.
National League Pitcher of the Week -- Mike Pelfrey (Mets): He went 2-0 and didn't allow an earned run in 15 innings. He struck out 10 and had a 0.60 WHIP.
American League Pitcher of the Week -- Roy Halladay (Blue Jays): It's not often a one-start pitcher gets the honor, but Halladay was great against the Yankees. He threw a two-hit shutout, walked one and struck out eight.
