Snell placed on DL

The Pirates placed Ian Snell on the 15-day DL with a strained right elbow. Phil Dumatrait was also recently placed on the DL, so Jimmy Barthmaier and John Van Benschoten will be called up to start Friday and Saturday. Snell has a 5.99 ERA and 1.93 WHIP.

This is good news for me.. Im sick of Snell and now I have a reason to release him
Sheffield is available in one of my leagues.. Should I pick him up and drop Joey Votto ??
If it's a keeper league, I wouldn't drop Votto. I think Sheffield can still hit, but health is still a major issue at his age. As long as you aren't releasing a good player, I'd pick up Sheffield.
