Marcum placed on disabled list

Welcome back to Toronto, Cito Gaston. First, he sees how putrid his offense is in a 1-0 12-inning loss to the Pirates in his first game back and now Shaun Marcum is placed on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right elbow. He will see Dr. James Andrews on Monday for further evaluation. Marcum is 5-4 with a 2.65 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and a 86/27 K/BB ratio in 98 2/3 innings. He held hitters to a .198 average.
