Peavy to miss next start

Padres ace Jake Peavy will miss his start tomorrow with soreness in his pitching elbow, The reigning NL Cy Young award winner will have an MRI when the team returns to San Diego tomorrow morning. Peavy has felt more discomfort in his elbow than normal in his last few starts. He is 4-3 with a 2.91 ERA and has lost three of his last four starts. Wil Ledezma will make the start in Peavy's place.
