Keppinger fractures kneecap

The Reds placed shortstop Jeff Keppinger on the disabled list with a fractured left kneecap after he fouled a ball off his knee last night. He is expected to miss four-to-six weeks. Jerry Hairston Jr. and Paul Janish will fill in at shortstop.
