Jones might need surgery

Andruw Jones, who has been one of the worst starters this season, took an MRI exam that revealed fluid and torn cartilage in his right knee. He will be out at least until Friday. Jones said if it doesn't get better in two days, he will get arthroscopic surgery. That would mean Jones would be out until late June. Jones is hitting .167 and is striking out once every 3.5 plate appearances.
