What are your thoughts on Jeff Clement and Justin Duchscherer? They'd both be luxury pick-ups for me.
I have Chris Snyder as my catcher and was thinking of adding Clement until Snyder heated up but wasn't sure if Clement would be getting regular at bats with Seattle.
Duchscherer seems to be pitching well but he's not going more than 5 innings and I don't really know too much about him.
Sabbathia not on dud list? how? and on a different note, how do you see Matt kemp's playing time shaking out with Andruw Jones looking horrible? Can you see Kemp getting FT AB's in that 4 man rotation?
Adam, interesting trade proposed to me: I get Gallardo and give up Smoltz. I'm very tempted. Thoughts?

I like Clement (see this Sunday's column) and think he will eventually gain catcher eligibility. I'd stay away from Duchscherer.

Brian,
I had Sabathia on the dud list and removed him. He has looked much better lately, so I thought someone who was consistently worsed should be there. As for Kemp, I think he plays enough to be a very good fantasy player. I can't see how they sit him. He has to play. If anyone, I think Ethier's playing time gets cut or Pierre if he doesn't produce.

Sorry for the delay. I am at Yankee Stadium doing a story for tomorrow's paper. I'm devestated by the Gallardo news since I own him in three leagues. Truly depressing.
