Lowell hits DL

Red Sox third baseman Mike Lowell was placed on the 15-day DL with a sprained left thumb. I labeled Lowell as a bad pick this year after a career year last season. Kevin Youkilis should play third base, while Sean Casey plays first. Casey is a good option in AL-only leagues.
