Jeter won't play tomorrow

Yankees manager Joe Girardi said shortstop Derek Jeter won't play in Kansas City tomorrow after he left the game following the second inning with a strained left quad. Girardi said no matter what Jeter tells him, he will sit. Girardi said they aren't thinking about placing him on the disabled list.
