Cordero returns, lifted from save situation

BY ADAM RONIS

Nationals closer Chad Cordero returned from the DL and was well on his way to a save situation against the Braves after retiring the first two batters. But he allowed a walk, a double and an intentional walk to load the bases in a one-run game and was taken out for Jon Rauch, who got Brian McCann to fly out to end the game. Cordero is returning from injury and is still the closer.
