Smoltz scratched from start
BY ADAM RONIS
Braves starter John Smoltz was scratched from his start today because of shoulder tightness in his throwing arm. He hopes to make his next start Wednesday, but the DL is a possibility. Smoltz turns 41 in May and shouldn't be relied on as a No. 1. He pitches through pain and hasn't shown signs of slipping, but he will miss time this season due to injury.

If Smoltz hits the DL, what will that do to the rotation and who gets to slide in the rotation ???
It would likely be Chuck James.
