DWI = six game suspension at Stony Brook

If you clicked on this blog yesterday, you might have read about the disappointing case of the Stony Brook basketball player. Here's the USA Today version:

Stony Brook's starting center was pulled over and charged with a DWI at 6:15 Sunday morning, around the same time Newsday trucks were delivering the college basketball preview that quoted school officials saying their season hopes rested on this guy.

Yesterday came the fallout.

Stony Brook issued a six-game suspension, meaning he'll miss those oh so important non-conference games against Maryland Eastern Shore, N.J. Tech and American.
