Will Greg Oden get injured while stumping for Obama?

Forget the fact that Greg Oden has not played in his first NBA game yet. He hasn't even voted in a Presidential election in his lifetime, and now he's seizing the moment to be front and center in the Barack Obama campaign.

According to The Oregonian, Oden will begin to appear in commercials today and has offered his support in other ways, too. "Anything else they can come up with," he said.

"It's my first time voting and he's the guy I latched onto and I really like," Oden said of Obama. "He's just a guy that I like. Honestly, I feel that he can best run this country. And it's not about all his policies, because if you think about it, I would probably, with my tax bracket, need to vote Republican. But he's the guy I really like and I'm going to vote for."

Here's Oden's blog post from February when he endorsed Obama.

If Paris Hilton is out there telling people to vote, why shouldn't we listen to Oden? And if you're basing your entire decision on what Greg Oden has to say, you probably shouldn't have the right to vote in the first place.
