Francesa vs. Carton? Who do you root for?
As usual, Neil Best had the top story of the day yesterday on his blog: Mike Francesa and Craig Carton feudin' on the FAN.
Now, I usually miss Boomer and Carton these days because I sleep until at least 10 most mornings, but when I am up and remember to listen to them I find them quite funny. Well, Carton. Boomer's not funny at all.
And I almost always miss Francesa now that Russo's gone. Why? Well, how many movies did Abbott make without Costello? How funny was Laurel without Hardy? How much do you care about Frick when Frack is not around? You loved "Dumb and Dumber" -- would you watch a movie called "Dumb"?
(Btw, never saw "Dumb and Dumber." Never going to.)
Anyway, I root for Carton in this one. Someone needs to bring Francesa down about three pegs.

Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!
If he's with Francesca I won't listen any more--just like I don't listen in the morning. As a woman, I find him offensive beyond belief. Carton talks about women like they are meat. I won't even quote some of the anatomical comments. I know that women aren't the target audience here, but they do listen to these shows and . . . Are you listening, WFAN (and the FTC)
Francesca is a loser and worse so without dog. I wish dog was on regular radio.
