The Final Score

Earlier today I posted about how even though Bruce Ratner reportedly is dancing with potential Nets buyers, I think there's no shot the end result is Charles Wang buying them and bringing them back to Long Island. Wang had his shot a few years back, was one of three finalists, and it didn't happen. Chances like that don't come along too often.

Now, that said, I figured I should do my due diligence and give Wang a call, to see if he would like to publicly express interest. So I called the Islanders, and a team spokesman called back and said Wang is out of the country. If I hear anything else, I'll pass it on.
