Randy Johnson... Photos like this always freak me out

I can't even get my elbow to bend that way when I'm sitting still. And how many times do you think Randy Johnson has bent his elbow in such a way over the 44 years of his life? One day he's going to wake up and his elbow is going to fall off. Just like that.

BTW, Randy really stinks this year. In 85 2/3 innings he's allowed 102 hits, including 12 home runs, and he's walked 27. His ERA is 5.94. His WHIP is 1.51. And opponents are hitting .294 off him. (Righties are hitting .307 and have an OPS of .846 against him!) I wonder if RJ thinks his struggles are the New York media's fault...

Yes, it's all the NY press's fault. When he went to NY, so did Ed Price, who was a reporter out here beforehand (and helped me get my hands on 2001 WWS tickets and 2005 NYY tickets for a game where Randy pitched). Now he has to worry about two, maybe three papers, once of which is beased 100 miles away in Tucson. No buddies. He can't stand it. Too quiet. Besides, he's not even the #3 on this staff.
