The Final Score

Kudos to Anthony for a tremendous job on Newsday's 100 Best Super Elite Hall of Fame. He really nailed it.

I was especially blown away by the players that Anthony selected from the Negro League and the 19th Century.

And now comes the big "however" . . .

I think Luis Aparicio, Kirby Puckett and Joe Medwick belong on this team. And Eddie Matthews, Tony Gwynn and Dave Winfield don't.

The best part is that I don't have to tell you why.
