I spent about an hour Wednesday night following false leads on the web as I searched for Jessica Simpson's new country song, "You're My Sunday."
The tune is about her boyfriend, Tony Romo, whose Dallas Cowboys fans truly hope that Jessica is not Tony's Sunday, seeing that Sunday is the day that he's supposed to be focusing on football.
But I refuse to give up. I must know the words to the song. Are they silly? Stupid? Touching?
Would they sound good coming from the lips of a real country singer?
I must know; I must. And I want to share them with you.
So, if you know the words or know where to find them, just post a comment and leave your email address in the space provided. (Don't worry; your email will stay private; it is only visible to your Final Score team and a few newsday.com VIPs).

does anybody really care???
Who gives a rip? She is an embarrassment to country music. Did you watch her on youtub? She sounded so unprofessional and or unrehearsed. You can hear boo's on the video. She has millions of dollars, why does she want to subject herself to the humiliation?
Answer: She has a unsatiable desire for attention. That is the only answer. Tony Romo is the laughing stock of the NFL for dating her.
People try to be nice and listen to her, they try and be nice to Tony about dating her, but behind their backs it is a big laughfest. I seriously think Tony thought she was somebody hot to date not realizing her day was over 3 yrs ago. She has managed to keep her name in the magazines for 9 mos. for absolutely nothing. She is nothing more than a tabloid celebrity. Tony had such a good reputation as a role model and as soon as he stepped into the clubs in the limelight that went down the toilet. Nobody wants his jersey on their kid. Forget it he dates Jessica Simpson. Skeevy.
Theresa,
Could you be any more bitter or pathetic?
Is your life so utterly empty and hopeless that you can only spew nonsensical hatred? There is not one accuracy in your entire post.
If you can't control your spite for the world, stay off the computer and away from the world.
No!
Don't stay away from the computer, Theresa. Comment any time you want here.
I have also been looking for the lyrics or the song. I can't find it anywhere.
