The rookies on 2011 baseball Hall of Fame ballot are...
Wilson Alvarez, Carlos Baerga, Jeff Bagwell, Bret Boone, Kevin Brown, Cal Eldred, John Franco, Juan Gonzalez, Marquis Grissom, Bobby Higginson, Charles Johnson, Al Leiter, Tino Martinez, Raul Mondesi, Jose Offerman, John Olerud, Rafael Palmeiro, Paul Quantrill, Steve Reed, Kirk Rueter, Rey Sanchez, Benito Santiago, B.J. Surhoff, Ugueth Urbina, Ismael Valdez, Larry Walker, Dan Wilson.
Palmeiro would have made it if not for this. That was in 2005, his last season in the pros. The next season when the Yankees were in Texas he was standing outside the clubhouse. And, let me tell you, I barely recognized him he was so small. Seriously.
Otherwise I'd vote for no one here, not even Kevin Brown or Rey Sanchez.

Not Paul Quantrill?
What about Bagwell? I know he was a user (find a before and after pic) but he has some pretty good #'s.
You gotta vote for the man who gave sports the "bobble head" idea: Marquis Grissom, simply one of the funniest looking baseball players I've ever seen.
No, Tyler, Joe Torre ruined Paul Quantrill's chances.
Good call, Richie G. I was meaning to bring Jeff Bagwell up. I'd say no, but I'm sure some disagree with me.
