METS: I didn't see the play, but from David Lennon's description of it it's clear the umps blew that call when Mark Kotsay trapped Jose Reyes' liner. Good job by Willie Randolph to force the umpires to get together to overturn the call. If they had refused, he's got to get tossed. Willie can be a little passive at times in those situations.
YANKEES: Ya gotta love Shelley Duncan. He's the kind of guy who would help an old lady cross the street but knock her down in the process.
BEYONCE: Congrats on the (alleged) wedding. Jay-Z is one lucky guy. I've had the pleasure of seeing Beyonce in person many times at Nets games. She is stunning.
