Rather than be labeled a blurker, here's a little fact that shows just how good the Yankees have been and just how pathetic the Phillies were.
If you eliminate their two years as the original Baltimore Orioles (1901-02), the Yankees have won 9277 games. The Phillies have won 8864 since 1886. I'm too tired to do the math.
By the way, before you give the Cubs too much credit, they've been around 25 years longer than any AL team.
