Remember Craig Hansen, the wonderboy from Glen Cove?

It's so easy to forget the outrage of Yankee fans that they let this kid go to the Red Sox in the '05 draft when scouts suggested he could be pitching in their bullpen by the end of the year. How did that work out for Boston?

(Yes, I know the Yankees drafted C.J. Henry, who's been a bust. But at least he turned into Bobby Abreu and is now back in the organization. Apparently he's now on the DL. Who knows?)

Anyway, almost three years later, Hansen may be back on track - though he's still not an established major leaguer. He was called up Tuesday, looked good in last night's game and then was sent back down to Triple-A. Here's more from the Boston Herald.
