I'm not Wally Matthews

I really appreciate the good folks at Newsday.com putting "Ask Anthony" teezers on the end of a lot of our baseball stories. I get a lot of good baseball questions from readers, some of which I answer directly in a return e-mail and others of which I save to answer here. A few I delete immediately because they are incomprehensible garbage.
Also Jim and I have done two "Ask Anthony" videos. We might do another this weekend and if we do it will go up here on Monday. We haven't talked about it yet. Hey, Jim, want to do a video on Sunday? Once again, having the blog means Jim and I really don't really need to speak to each other.
Anyway, back to Wally Matthews. Sometimes people feel the need to send me rants about columns written by Wally. I'm not sure if it's a mistake -- that they think the e-mail is going to Wally -- or if they just want me to know how they feel as if I'm some sort of Newsday reader representative.
Usually the e-mails are not nice. Wally has a natural gift for getting people's dander up.
If you want to yell at Wally, please e-mail him at wallace.matthews@newsday.com. I enjoy reading your rants, but I don't forward them to Wally, so he never gets the benefit of your feedback. I know for a fact he scans every e-mail he gets and tries to figure out how to please each and every commenter in future columns.
