Here are the Yankees' options for starters

I wrote my Web column today on the Yankees' pitching staff, and what their options are. In short, I said they should remain patient for another three weeks, but if this continues, these are their options, as I see it:

-- Make Joba a starter.
Nooooooo. See two posts below.

-- Send Kennedy down for Kei Igawa.
Don't laugh. Igawa is pitching well.

-- Then, if Hughes can't right himself, call up Darrell Rasner.
He'll give you innings.

-- Possible free agents:
Freddy Garcia
(I don't trust him off shoulder surgery)
Roger Clemens
(Oh my goodness gracious, no)
David Wells
(why not????)
