Long Islander is investigating Roger Clemens' perjury case

Newsday's Robert E. Kessler has a great profile today about Matt Parrella, one of the assistant United States attorneys from San Francisco who has been leading the five-year investigation into steroids in sports.

Parrella wrestled in high school and played soccer at SUNY Albany before returning to Long Island to later become the Suffolk County D.A.

These days he's investigating people like Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens.

Today he has a meeting with Jose Canseco.
