PreGame: Knicks at Nets (preseason)
David Lee will take the night off to rest a sore ankle. He could have played if this were a regular season game and we'll likely see him tomorrow night at the Garden against the Celtics.
Wilson Chandler gets the start at power forward. Seems like Mike D'Antoni wants to avoid the Zach Randolph-Eddy Curry tandem, though D'Antoni said he may take a look at it.
"I might," D'Antoni said. "If Eddy gets his game up to where it can be I wouldn’t because I think Zach, they should be able to, in theory, play together. Zach can play outside, Eddy inside. It shouldn’t be a problem if they both play at a great level."
Be very afraid.

Can't believe I'm looking at the box score and Q isn't doing a 2-12.
Still believe he should be coming off the bench if anything, but its still good news. Wonder if he can keep this up?
Curry was just embarrassed by Brook freakin Lopez. Hopefully Curry sees why he is not a starter. I'm really wondering if he has any pride going out there on the court and looking that fat and slow. He had a couple of flashes but for the most part he didn't even try to grab a rebound. 18 minutes and 3 rebounds, yes one RB every 6 minutes and he is 7ft. He was also in there when the Knicks went small, he should be crashing the boards and ripping down everything. What a fat piece of garbage.
Marburry may have really found his niche as a 7th man, he looked great. Nate is the sixth man of the year if he can finally play conistent basketball. If he can play in control, he should be the starter sooner rather than later. Crawford looks lost. They tried to use him at the point and in typical JC fashion he overdribbled the ball out of bounds. Q, at least for one night, put the haters to bed. Zach was ok, but I think with Lee all the pressure isn't on him to get every rebound and he plays better. Chandler may average 15 and 8. He looks like the best Knick thus far. Jury is still out on Duhon. He can pass, he has cut down a little on the turnovers, but the offense to me still runs better with Nate. He is not spectacular and IMO not a starter on a winning team. 7 ast, 6rb, and 1 to I will admit is impressive for Duhon though. Willis was right though, the offense looks much better with a steady hand and a PG who is not always looking for his own shot (Steph).
You have to be kidding me that Jerome James can't even play in the pre-season. Are you kidding me. If he makes the team and Ewing, J.r. does not it would be a shame. Problem is if Zach or Curry gets injured we have no other center. I'm almost starting to despise JJ. He and Curry represent everything that was wrong with the Knicks last year. Say what you want about Steph, he came in to camp in shape and appears to actually want to win, even though he doesn't know that you need to trust your teamates and they need to trust you to do it. At least Steph is trying, other people would have folded by now.
Hopefully I could watch the game via sopcast. It's hard to live in Brazil and be a Knicks Fan.
Just the second half. Eddy Curry was awful. What D'A will do, nobody knows, but Donnie might listen offers for him. The point is: Will somebody give up something for Mr. Bad Condition, Ill and No motion Curry?
I doubt so.
So far, the Knicks are impressive. Chandler and Nate are playing great. Hey Mike, what did you think about the Trey Collins did to ice the game in the finals minutes?? The guy show confidence and guts.
He's on the Team.
So Who will be cutted? AH20 and Grunfeld are locked. I think Walsh will try to give Pat Jr a spot. He will buyout Anderson or even Jerome.
What do you think guys?
Who is Anderson?
