The Preseason Sked
Most of you have probably seen it by now. It was released this afternoon.
Wed., Oct. 8 at Toronto (Air Canada Centre) 7 p.m.
Fri., Oct. 10 at Philadelphia (Wachovia Center) 7 p.m.
Tues., Oct. 14. vs. Sixers (MSG) 7:30 p.m.
Fri., Oct. 17 at Boston (TD Banknorth Garden) 7:30 p.m.
Mon., Oct. 20 at New Jersey (IZOD Center) 7:30 p.m.
Tues., Oct. 21 vs. Celtics (MSG) 7:30 p.m.
Fri., Oct. 24 vs. Nets (MSG) 7:30 p.m.
Media Day is Mon., Sept. 29 and the first day of training camp is Tues., Sept. 30 at Skidmore College in upstate Saratoga. Practices there will be closed to the public so I'm not sure it will be worth the trip up like some Giants fans tend to make the trek to Albany.

I cannot trust or have faith in Donnie Walsh if Stephon Marbury is part of media day.
We are gonna lose bad...Gotta atleast get in better cap space..Lets get started..
Keeping 2010 alive
with some bulljive
yes lets bash marbury once again because that never gets old.
i hope he is there on media day. he's still the best guard we have and i believe d'antoni could bring the best out of him and if it all fails, i trust donnie walsh will get rid of the problem.
instead of being so close minded, why not wait and see what happens...
the 3 preseason games coat me $660 for my 2 seats. What a rip.
Practices closed to the public? Is Thomas still running the show?
Is there some way to contact someone in p.r., and see if they would open a scrimmage to the public for a donation (Back in the day at Purchase, it was $5.), which would go to a local charity? I've searched the website, and can't find an email address.
DaJoka can't wait.
Does anyone else find it ironic that the 23-win Knicks are practising at SKID MORE?
@Don "Practices closed to the public? Is Thomas still running the show?"
No the names of the management may have changed, but it appears that the script remains the same! What do you expect with the same owner?
According to a made up source, the Knicks camp in Saratoga will be closed due to the Knicks being clueless about everything.
The source denies that Walsh is trying to keep Gallinari from being exposed as the Bust/Broke Back Lottery pick! We are working on team communication said the source. The players have to talk a lot more to each other, Imagine Gallinari getting hit with a Pick by Perkins from Boston or big Ben from the Cav's?
You will hear a lot more " Watch out Rooster" than anything else.
Chris Duhon can yell the loudest of all the Knicks. His Vocal range is unbelievable, he's loud as hell, stated the source. "Walsh can hear him without his hearing aide, which is a major reason why the Knicks picked him up!"
Does closed to the public mean closed to reporters, or just average joes?
If Donnie Walsh is serious about establishing a winning and professional environment, he cannot have Stephon Marbury at media day or training camp. Marbury represents everything that you do NOT want in a player. Aside from being a selfish and overrated basketball player, he's a ghetto piece of trash off the court who has embarrassed the organization countless times. Did anyone forget the 'Mike'd Up' and 'Dey scerred now!!" interviews? I don't care if he's the best player on one of the worst teams in the league. He has too much baggage and he's impossible to root for.

2010
The Bulls recently re-signed Demetris Nichols to a one-year, partially-guaranteed contract. The 6-foot-8 shooting guard from Syracuse appeared in 11 games for the Bulls last season after being claimed off waivers from Cleveland on Dec. 7.
Nichols was the team's second-leading scorer at the Orlando summer league in July, averaging 13.6 points. With Nichols on board, the Bulls have 12 players under contract for next season, with only restricted free agent Ben Gordon still in limbo.
Give Steph props for the effort with S & B. Unfortunately most of the clothes they sell are crap.
Steph has a good track record. Every team he leaves gets better. So I think we may win 45-50 games if he is cut before camp starts
I buy the arguement that slashers have shorter careers. As soon as that first step is lost, it's over. Jordan could shoot, which is why he could be effective once he lost a half step.
I'm looking forward to rooster waking up this city.
Go Knicks!
