PreGame: Knicks vs. Pacers

Hey guess what? The Giants theme is still going on at Madison Square Garden! Fifteen members of the Big Blue are on the guest list tonight. R.W. McQuarters just loves that courtside seat.

Cheap cheers. Get em while you can.

Johan Santana coming next?

*

Hey, K-Berg was wondering out loud: Anybody ask Jerome James what he did on Fat Tuesday? (Reminds me, I failed to get my ashes today. Bad Catholic. Is that redundant? I'll do penance tomorrow. My Irish mother will be seething when she reads this.)

*

Nate Robinson (bruised thigh) will give it a go tonight. Quentin Richardson (ankle) is out. Randolph Morris is on the inactive list because, you know, we're not looking to see what we have with him yet. Better to make Jerome James available.

I got to tell you, I admire some of you who still come here to post and check-in. How many days to pitchers and catchers?

STARTING LINEUP
KNICKS (14-34)
Jeffries
Randolph
Curry
Crawford
Jones

PACERS (19-30)
Dunleavy
Murphy
Foster
Diener
Granger

* - Jamaal Tinsley is out with a sore left knee. Jermaine O'Neal is out, too, as most of you know.

Enjoy the game. I swear that's not sarcasm. Can the Knicks get to .300 before David Wright does this year?

Or is it more alarming that the Pacers, with 30 losses, are only a game and a half out of a playoff spot?

Great league, Mr. Stern.

These games are becoming almost unwatcheable. The Knicks only won 33 games last season, but they were a blast to watch. The games this year are just flat out boring. From what I can tell, it's like dead silence in the Garden. Maybe that's a good sign that people are going to stop showing up to the games and maybe, just maybe, Dolan will have to make a change.

Who am I kidding? Isiah will probably get a 10 year extension before he's even considered being fired this season.

Sigh.....

Alan, don't tell me your a met fan!

I gave up on this season long ago and do not care at all. More and more Knicks fans feel the same way. Best thing for the future of this team is to continue losing and get lucky in the lottery and getting rid of that moron Isiah.

This team doesn't care and the fans should'nt have to either.

I got back from the gym just intime to see Zach bank a three and Jamal airball the game winner. Basketball around here sucks. Even Seton Hall, the only good team in the area, got crapped on by Notre Dame.

Welcome to Madison Square Garden. Where every road team is a winner. Every bench player is a potential all-star . . . at least for one night. Bring us your losing streaks . . . they’ll end here. Come one . . . come all. The Knicks are the best thing that ever happened to the NBA . An automatic win.

There is no sign that the bleeding will stop anytime soon. Isn't it interesting that the Giants are owned by a bunch of rich kids, who inherited their team, too. The only question is, who is in over his head more -- Isiah or Dolan? the level of incompetence those two have brought to one of the league's premiere franchises will be legendary in the NBA for years to come.

Hahn you're as much a Catholic as Peaceman is a non-court-ordered father.
